The EU AI Act asks organisations publishing AI-generated content to label it clearly, so we have made that a one-click step. When you click Generate, you can now choose to add an AI-generated watermark to the video, using the EU's own AI labelling icon. Anyone watching can then see at a glance that the video was made with AI. It is opt-in and set per video, so nothing changes unless you tick the box.
How it works:
- Build your video as usual and click Generate
- Enable "Add AI-generated watermark" in the generation options
- Generate, and the label appears on the finished video
What this means for you:
- Label your AI-generated videos with the icon regulators recognise
- Handle it at generation time rather than adding a label yourself afterwards
- If your video already carries the Colossyan watermark, the two sit together as one combined mark instead of stacking on top of each other
Good to know
Whether you need the label depends on where and how you publish your videos, so it is worth checking your own requirements. The option is there whenever you want it.
