- Split your recording:Cut sections for smoother, more polished edits.
- Trimming:Quickly clean up the start and end of your recording.

your screen recordings will now look sharper
and play more smoothly, with quality upgraded from 720p to full 1080p
for a crisp, professional finish.Note:
You can only add and adjust zooms or splits right after recording — make sure they’re final before saving and adding them to your video.
How does screen recording work with audio?
You can choose to:
- Record your audiousing your microphone.
- Have your Colossyan script narrated while recording.
Or record without any audio, if that's easier.
Once your screen recording is added, you can enhance it further
— add background music, include an AI avatar, and apply other effects to make your screen recording more engaging. We hope these improvements will help you create even better product explainers, demos, and tutorials!
