You can now choose whether viewers see the timeline on an embedded video. Turn it off and there is nothing to scrub, so people move through the video in the order you built it instead of dragging ahead to the end. Works on both interactive and regular videos. We also rebuilt the embed modal while we were in there, so getting your embed code is quicker and clearer than before.
How it works:
- Open the share page for your video and go to the Embed tab
- Select the "Hide progress bar" option
- Copy your embed code from the redesigned embed modal
What this means for you:
- Training gets watched in full rather than skimmed to the finish
- Interactive journeys play out in the sequence you designed
- Keep the timeline where free navigation is the point, such as reference material people dip in and out of
- Setting up an embed takes fewer clicks and less guesswork
