Colossyan Screen Capture is a browser extension for Chrome and Edge that turns a narrated click-through of any website or web app into an interactive training video. Every click becomes a step, your narration becomes the script, and the finished video waits for the viewer to click the right spot before it moves on.

How it works
- Add Colossyan Screen Capture to Chrome or Edge and sign in with your Colossyan account.
- Start a capture and click through the process the way your viewer would, explaining it as you go. Blur anything sensitive while you record. The capture pauses while you pick what to hide.
- Stop the capture to open the review screen. Every step shows its screenshot, the click, and a script filled in from your narration. Rewrite a line, reorder, duplicate or delete steps, paste in a better screenshot, zoom in, or drag a click to the right spot.
- Convert it to an interactive video, or export the same capture as a step-by-step PDF guide.
What this means for you
Software training no longer starts with a pile of screenshots. You show the process once, and people learn it by doing it rather than watching someone else do it. The result is a normal Colossyan draft, so you can add an avatar, add a knowledge check, translate it into 100+ languages, and share it as a link, an embed or a SCORM package with completion tracking. When the interface changes, recapture just the step that moved.
Coming soon:
you'll be able to turn a capture into a full course, with lessons and modules built from the same click-through, without rebuilding anything in another tool.Good to know
- Colossyan Screen Capture saves clicks, screenshots and narration. It doesn't record a video of your screen.
- It works on anything that opens at a web address in Chrome or Edge, including internal tools. It can't capture desktop applications or files opened straight from your computer.
- You'll find it in the Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons under its new name, Colossyan Screen Capture.
